Twix

Of all the chocolate confectionery brands featured in the Top 100 table, Twix was the slowest grower in 2007 with sales just nudging ahead by 0.9%.

For this year, at least, it has hung on to a Top 100 position albeit it has slid from 91 in 2006 to 96th place today.

Brands qualifying for this year's report have a turnover greater than £68m, up from last year's threshold of £65m.

If the market were to grow by a similar amount this year, and Twix didn't improve on its performance, its presence in the league would be touch and go in 2008.
