There is an exciting year of Toblerone marketing activity ahead, with brand new TV advertising and an interactive website for its fans.
The TV advert, which premiered on 1st March, shows a young woman going to extraordinary lengths to enjoy her Toblerone – from using her hairpin to cut through the bar to knocking a piece off with the lid of a grand piano!
The light-hearted 30-second ad closes with a call for viewers to show the UK ‘What makes their Toblerone, Toblerone?’, with an on-screen link leading them to an interactive website at www.mytoblerone.com <http://www.mytoblerone.com> <http://www.mytoblerone.com> where they can celebrate their love for the brand, take up challenges, upload videos, and get recipes and rewards.
The online and TV campaigns are part of a £4 million UK marketing investment in 2011, with activity set to huge numbers of consumers across the country.
