Roberts Bakery has launched a fantastic ‘Summer of Fun’ promotion

Leading regional family baker Roberts Bakery has launched a fantastic ‘Summer of Fun’ promotion to celebrate its 125th anniversary.

The campaign, which will run throughout the summer, will see the Northwich based bakery offer 125 exciting top prizes including iPads, family days out and the star prize of a fabulous family beach club holiday. Prizes can be won by finding ‘golden tickets’ in selected Roberts loaves or entering the competition on facebook. In addition to giving away the 125 top prizes, thousands of free loaf and money off coupons will also be concealed in the 800g loaves of thick white, medium white and medium wholemeal.

The promotion, which will run in store from 29 June until the end of August, will be supported by an advertising campaign in local press and radio to raise consumer awareness. Roberts has launched a Facebook page – facebook.com/RobertsBakeryUK – to coincide with the competition and will be giving away some of the 125 prizes through this medium.

Celebrating 125 years of baking bread, independent bakery Roberts Bakery was established in 1887. The company has operated from its current premises in Northwich, Cheshire since 1952. The site is kitted out with state-of-the art equipment, which enables the company to produce over 1.5 million consistently high quality loaves a week. For four generations, the Roberts family has continued the skilled tradition of baking fine bread, with many members of the Roberts family still actively working for the business.

I agree with the above, I have eaten Roberts bread for years, I have 5 children and 7 grandchildren and some of their best memories is driving past the bakery at Rudheath on the way to school and getting the lovely aroma of freshly baked bread, and I must admit its one of the nicest aroma’s especially as some of the other ‘smells’ around Lostock were not so pleasant. Thank you Roberts for quality bread all these years.
