Since acquiring a licence to sell a range of Creative Baking ingredients under the McDougalls brand into Foodservice and Wholesale accounts in January 2012, Orchard Valley Foods has been developing its understanding of the needs of the customer and end user base. Personal contact with accounts; filling distribution gaps on the existing range and researching new product types are all leading to a resurgence in interest in McDougalls amongst bakers, caterers and chefs.
New to the inclusions and decorations selection is McDougalls Fudge Cubes, in a 1kg tub. Arguably Cornwall’s most famous food export, fudge cubes can be used in cookies, muffins, chilled and frozen desserts, ice creams and much more besides. The McDougalls Fudge Cubes are crafted in small batches by award winning Cornish family confectioners using only the finest natural ingredients that can be found. The 6mm cubes are suitable for inclusion in baked, frozen or chilled products and have been specifically designed to be free flowing, soft eating and rich in flavour.
Coating buttons in Yoghurt, Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate varieties complete this wave of new product development. These coatings are particularly suited to applications where a quick set is required prior to packing and will give a very high gloss to the finished product.
Orchard Valley Foods has invested in a redesign across all the Creative Baking range which will launch at the same time as the new products.
