New Zealand winery Invivo is in town for the summer and promoting their award-winning wines at the OXO Tower this month. A perfect location to enjoy the sun, the OXO Tower enjoys panoramic views of the London skyline where guests can enjoy a glass of Invivo Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc at the outdoor deck, bar and restaurant.
The OXO will also be promoting Bella by Invivo Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, their unique lower calorie 9% alcohol wine, ideal for those looking for a lighter alternative and at fewer calories! Invivo will include their Central Otago Pinot Noir in the Invivo promotion at OXO which will celebrate 15 years next month.
In a buoyant time for Invivo, last month their Sauvignon Blanc received 5 stars in the UK’s “What Food What Wine” 2011 competition as a match with smoked salmon. An outstanding line up of judges in the wine and food competition included Gerard Bassett MW MS and World Sommelier of the Year in 2010. Invivo has also recently been selected to be served on Air New Zealand flights.
Ivan Dixon, Wine Buyer Harvey Nichols Group, said: “We are very happy to be collaborating with Invivo on this promotion. We feel positive that our OXO customers will enjoy these outstanding New Zealand wines!”
Invivo has a supply arrangement with the BBC’s hit chat show The Graham Norton Show, and also has links to leading New Zealand fashion label Zambesi who designed their label and sponsors artists involved in both music and contemporary arts. Invivo has signed on to sponsor a crew of New Zealand street artists. The TMD Crew, twice named world graffiti art champions, have painted 30 individual Invivo wine boxes which have been sent out to media across UK and Australia in recent months. All the Invivo wines will be available at the OXO Bar, Restaurant & Brasserie by the glass, carafe or bottle during August and September.
