Cadbury, the UK’s number one confectionery manufacturer, is launching a 45p RRP on-pack price promotion from the end of January for a limited time only.
The promotion will run across single bars of Cadbury Crunchie, Cadbury Double Decker, Cadbury Twirl and Cadbury Boost. Over half of shoppers say that a price marked pack would positively influence their confectionery purchase .
The recommended retail price will feature prominently on the bars to give good visibility on shelf and by stocking them, the average independent retailer could increase their average weekly sales by 32%.
Kate Harding, Trade Communications Manager at Cadbury, comments: “The promotion offers great value for money on these SKUs which are all in the top 10 bestsellers list for independents.”
