Toffee Crunch follows the successful launch of the limited edition Dark Chocolate Fingers in 2007, which will now become a permanent variant in the range. This is the 4th variety of fingers to be launched in the last three years.
Cadbury Toffee Crunch Fingers will be available until September and, if successful, could also become a permanent flavour in the Cadbury Fingers range.
Jaspal Chada, marketing director at Burton’s Foods, said: “As a nation we love Cadbury Fingers, and by developing new variants like Toffee Crunch, we are able to offer unique and exciting flavours to our existing consumers as well as attract a new audience. We look forward to surprising and delighting our loyal fan base.”
Cadbury Fingers, which Burton’s bakes under license from Cadbury, is the number one brand in the Special Treats sector and grew in value by 4.8% in 2007. Penetration increased by 3% to 24.6% over the same period.
Toffee Crunch Fingers come in 125g packs. RRP (£1.25). Available from Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Somerfield and Co-op.
