From mid February, brand new GALAXY® BUBBLES will be launched nationally.
GALAXY® BUBBLES is sure to be a hit with consumers. Building on the indulgence consumers have come to expect from GALAXY®,this new product has the same GALAXY® taste in the form of its chocolate shell, filled with an aerated GALAXY® chocolate centre.
The latest addition to the GALAXY® family will be GALAXY® BUBBLE’S the biggest new launch for GALAXY® in 2010 and will be supported by £2.5 million* (MMS equivalent) launch spend.
The product will have strong impact instore through the use of point of sale available nationwide ranging from dumpbins and counter units to displays for Cash and Carries.
The launch of GALAXY® BUBBLES comes after what has been an incredibly successful year for the GALAXY® brand, which saw strong sales growth in 2009.
GALAXY® had a strong performance last year with total GALAXY® block chocolate growing at 19.2% v a market decline of 9.3%, and GALAXY® Milk large block enjoying a phenomenal performance growing at 42.3%*. GALAXY® built on this growth with two new additions to the GALAXY® brand last year, large format GALAXY® COOKIE CRUMBLE and large format GALAXY® CARAMEL- both ideal for sharing.
