One of the UK’s great summer traditions has just got a whole lot better – thanks to a new innovation from Baxters Food Group, the UK’s No 1 premium food brand.
Baxters has created a new limited edition Summer Fruits jam to offer consumers something extra special for their tea and scones and toast as Brits gear up for a season of celebration of everything the country does best.
With the growing popularity of the quintessentially British afternoon tea, the limited edition from Baxters will provide the perfect accompaniment to scones, home baking and breakfast fare.
The new Summer Fruits variety is also a nod towards the increasing consumer trend to purchase branded jam and preserves rather than own label. Kantar data shows the preserves category is worth over £169m across the UK, showing a huge appetite from Brits.
Baxters recipes are renowned for their quality and taste and it was in 1868 the family produced its first strawberry jam recipe. Today each Baxters recipe is developed with hundreds of years of expertise passed through the generations and the new limited edition jam has been made using only the very finest raspberries and blackberries, to provide consumers with a delicious summer treat.
The Summer Fruits jam will be stocked exclusively in Morrisons with an RRP of £1.89. The jar design features the Baxters stamp of approval ‘made with years of family know how’ and distinctive white labels with handwritten script for a premium feel, all reinforcing the quality and history synonymous with the Baxters brand.
Other Baxters jams available are Rhubarb and Ginger, Country Berry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Three Fruits Marmalade and Thin Cut Marmalade.
