Adding to its portfolio of brands, restaurant to retail company All About Food is launching a range of cooking sauces from leading Spanish restaurant brand La Tasca. The new partnership will bring authentic Spanish cuisine to the cooking sauce market, allowing consumers to have a restaurant experience at home.
Developed with La Tasca’s Head of Food, Antony Bennett, the range introduces the leading Spanish restaurant brand to the cooking sauce market for the first time. The launch represents not only a partnership with the market leader of Spanish casual dining, but also availability of authentic Spanish sauces to supermarket shoppers across the UK. They are perfect for the consumer who may be unaware of how best to create Spanish meals at home – providing a simple way of cooking delicious food for all the family.
Offering a selection of traditional Spanish dishes inspired from the La Tasca menu, the range includes: Bravas, a spicy tomato and garlic sauce; Marbella, a white wine, garlic and red pepper sauce; Jardinera, a chunky tomato, garlic and herb sauce and Pimienta, a smokey tomato, paprika and red bell pepper sauce. These variants enable consumers to enjoy their favourite dishes from the La Tasca menu at home.
All About Food marketing manager, Cathy McGinnis commenting on the launch, said: “All About Food are delighted to be working with La Tasca, providing consumers with a simple way to cook different Spanish dishes, not previously available to them. The launch will be supported by an extensive campaign targeting customers who regularly visit La Tasca’s 61 UK restaurants and encouraging them to enjoy Spanish food at home. Cathy adds: “La Tasca restaurants are known for their lively atmosphere and range of dishes, it’s great that customers will now be able to experiment and experience this at their comfort and convenience.”
La Tasca sauces and condiments will be launched from summer 2011 and All About Food are currently in advanced talks with a number of major retailers.
