On shelf in time for summer salads and barbeques, PizzaExpress Italian dressing contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and is made in exactly the same way as you would make it at home – using the juice of a whole fresh lemon, coarse chopped herbs, olive oil and a dash of honey to add sweetness to the simple vinaigrette.
Commenting on the launch, All About Food Marketing Manager, Charlotte Dewhurst says: “PizzaExpress is a much loved, trusted and respected Italian brand for the 26 million consumers who visit the restaurants each year, and as the fastest branded salad dressing range in the marketplace, it made sense for us to launch an Italian dressing. The premium priced dressing will deliver incremental cash to retailers, encouraging consumers to trade up from their usual brand.
The launch will be supported by an integrated marketing campaign using the 370 PizzaExpress restaurants throughout the UK, as well as a tactical PR campaign.
PizzaExpress Italian dressing has an RSP of £2.19 and will be available in Waitrose stores from April 2011.
