United Biscuits (UBUK), the UK’s leading manufacturer of biscuits, is delighted to announce that, due to popular demand, it is bringing back Dark Chocolate Hob Nobs.  The reintroduction of the range, supported by the growing consumer desire for dark chocolate in all snacking areas, will complement the existing portfolio, comprising of Hob Nobs and Milk Chocolate Hob Nobs, and will have an MRRP of £1.69.
Nick Stuart, Commercial Manager at UBUK, comments: “We were pleased to see large growth of both Hob Nobs and Milk Chocolate Hob Nobs in 2007, growing by 19% and 9% respectively and bringing £28m of sales into the biscuit market. “We expect the Dark Chocolate Hob Nobs to be extremely popular with consumers and will offer even more sales and profit opportunities to retailers to capitalise on this growing trend.”

It's great the dark ... It's great the dark chocolate Hob Nobs are returning. Now I can enjoy Hob Nobs again, but I would please like to see the dark chocolate Hob Nobs in the plastic things with removable plastic lids again, like they made them until they were discontinued. |
