Unilever UK is to launch Persil with Microcapsules. The newly formulated products will be backed by a £3m marketing campaign to include PR, advertising and in-store support.
 The formula builds on the “fresh release technology” introduced to the Comfort fabric conditioner range last year.
It works by locking “fragrance microcapsules” into the fibres of clothes when they are washed. These then burst upon movement.
The new formulation will be introduced to both Persil Bio gel tablets and powders.
The launch will be supported by a £3m marketing campaign, aimed at mums, which runs from the beginning of April to the end of June.
