Wall’s, the leading ice cream brand from Unilever UK, is continuing to drive ice cream frequency with the launch of two fantastic new products into its Out Of Home range.

Available now, both products will benefit from the huge equity and heritage of the Wall's brand, as well as £1.5 million support behind the brand in 2008.

Wall's is continuing to support its hugely successful Cornetto range with the introduction of new Cornetto Frutti Disc.

This new product consists of cheesecake flavour ice cream with a raspberry ripple sauce topped with a disc of fruit of the forest puree with milk chocolate. This new product follows the success of Cornetto Choco Disc, launched in 2007 which became the 2nd best selling new product in the impulse market last year (behind Magnum Ecuador Dark).

In addition, new for Summer 2008 is Footballissimo! Shaped like a football and with four different whistle sticks to collect, the lolly is made with vanilla and chocolate flavour ice cream, providing a new ice-cream offering for the children's segment of impulse ice-cream.

Iain Brooksbank, Wall's Brand Manager at Unilever UK says: “As everyone knows football is the most popular sport in the UK and is loved by adults and children alike. Footballissimo is bound to strike a chord this summer as it combines some real kids' favourites. It has delicious vanilla and chocolate flavour ice-cream for them to enjoy, a whistle to make a lot of noise, and of course a football theme.”

To maximise the potential in impulse, retailers should also stock up with the top-selling Storming Six from Wall's ready for the season. Wall's Storming Six are the top six hand-held ice creams in the UK impulse market - including Magnum Classic, Magnum White, Cornetto Strawberry, Twister, Solero Exotic and Calippo Orange.

Wall's Football Lolly is available in an 80ml single pack, priced 65p (RRP).

Wall's Cornetto Frutti Disc is available in a 125ml single pack priced £1.10 (RRP).
