Fredericks Dairies, the UK’s largest independent ice cream manufacturer, is adding to its extensive range of licensed Cadbury ice creams with the launch of a new Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons cone and a range of Cadbury ‘twist’ cones to maximise profit opportunities for retailers in the lead up to Christmas.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons cone presents a classic kid’s favourite in a new format, made using soft vanilla ice cream swirled with a generous helping of Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons. The 100ml cones are available in a 4-pack featuring a ‘mega-buy’ £1 on-pack flash which gives consumers great value for money.
The new Cadbury Twist cones are available in three delicious flavours; Chocolate, Chocolate & Fudge and Chocolate & Mint. Each cone is finished with a thick helping of Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate and filled with smooth ice cream featuring a new ‘twist’ top. Fredericks Dairies has invested in unique technology to give Cadbury cones their distinctive twisted top which replicates the classic ice cream cone you would purchase from an ice cream van. Each variant is available in a 4-pack with a RRP of £1.99.
The Cadbury ice cream brand is currently worth £35million which is testament to Frederick’s Dairies innovative NPD and Cadbury’s dedicated consumer fan base who purchase over £1 billion of Cadbury chocolate every year.
The new launches benefit from the recognised quality credentials associated with the Cadbury brand and have strong eye-catching packaging to achieve maximum stand out in the freezer.
David Taylor, Fredericks Dairies Sales and Marketing Director, said, “The new Cadbury launches demonstrate our commitment to providing high quality products to meet consumer demand for exciting and indulgent products. The Cadbury ice cream portfolio continually proves to be popular with families and we are confident that the new launches will drive profit opportunities for retailers when ice cream sales are traditionally low.”
