The UK’s brand leader in brined seafood, The Big Prawn Company is extending its presence in the seafood retail market with a new delicious chilled Norwegian smoked salmon product.
The fresh smoked salmon is sourced from deep Norwegian waters and has a delicate mild taste and a moist texture. It is naturally rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A and D, providing an essential part of the Governments recommended health guideline on 'Eat Two a Week' fish consumption.
Managing director, Bob Fleming comments: “Salmon was once seen as a luxury item and mainly eaten in restaurants; it is now considered a natural food item and has grown considerably in consumer popularity. Its position is also strengthened because people are becoming more concerned with a healthy diet and increasingly include oily fish such as a salmon in their meal repertoire.
