mini_jars_-_3_varietiesHancocks Cash and Carry is to launch a brand new range of small jars filled with popular retro sweets that will suit the value end of the
year round gifting market perfectly whilst proving highly profitable for all types of retailer.

The initial range of nine varieties will see old favourites such as Bulls Eyes, Rhubarb and Custard, Cola Cubes and Rosy Apples presented in clear traditional shaped jars, priced to sell at £2.49 each.

"This is a great development in our high margin own label range and we expect these jars to become extremely popular very quickly. The token gift market remains a key opportunity for independent retailers and they can truly benefit from the impulse nature of the sector. Coupled with the ongoing popularity for these classic sweets, our new mini jar range will prove itself in all manner of businesses and can be a real point of difference" says Jonathan Summerley, Hancocks purchasing director.

A massive 41% margin can be achieved at the recommended retail price of £2.49 (with the exception of Flying Saucers which is 33%).
