Winds of change for Windsor Blue

Windsor Blue, the high quality brand in the economy priced cigarette sector, will this month be given a whole new look, with a redesigned pack to give it a modern design. The new pack has been designed in line with the ever evolving preferences of UK adult smokers.

Rachel Smith, brand manager at Imperial Tobacco explains; "The price repositioning of Windsor Blue in July last year has stimulated its growth with an increase of 25% to its market share. Windsor Blue is now the number one choice for above king size length adult smokers downtrading into the economy priced cigarette sector. The new pack design will build on this success."

At the same time Imperial Tobacco is launching Windsor Blue Superkings Menthol 10s, which will be available from the 1st March 2010.

Rachel adds; "One in six above king size length sales are menthol cigarettes. This new addition to the Windsor Blue range provides adult smokers with a further choice of pack size in menthol cigarettes. With a RRP of £2.37, Windsor Blue Superkings Menthol 10s, is a more economical choice for adult smokers."
