Gourmet Garden launches into Booths

Monday, 08 February 2010
Specialist herbs and spices manufacturer Gourmet Garden has further strengthened its retail presence this month with a notable launch into renowned northern independent food retailer, Booths.

A selection of the company's clever fresh herbs and spices in a tube are now on sale in 22 stores across the north of England including best sellers Basil, Ginger, Garlic, Coriander, Lemon Grass and Chilli.

The latest innovation in quick and easy cooking, Gourmet Garden offers customers a unique alternative to using traditional dried herbs and spices, and a far quicker and easier alternative to sourcing and preparing fresh herbs.

"We are delighted that Gourmet Garden is now stocked in Booths," said James Barrett, General Manager Europe. "The huge success of Gourmet Garden in the UK with time-poor customers looking for fresh but easy-to-use ingredients has proved its value to our trade partners.

"Our expectations are high that this will be the case for both Booths and for future independent retailers that we are keen to work with."

Gourmet Garden has also established listings in Ocado in the past few months, in addition to its existing stockist portfolio which include Sainsburys, Makro and Budgens.
