Ben & Jerry's, the UK's leading luxury ice cream brand, is introducing a delicious new Fairtrade flavour to its existing range.
Available from March 2010, Ben & Jerry's Fairly Nuts was created by a Ben & Jerry's fan who won the global 'Do The World A Flavour' competition. The ‘moovellous' new concoction will take the current number of Fairtrade flavours in the range to five and is expected to attract new flavour fans and inject excitement into the premium ice cream category.
Vicky Willis, Brand Manager (aka ‘Sundae Girl') for Ben & Jerry's, says: "Some of our best sellers, such as Cookie Dough, Cherry Garcia and Chunky Monkey, have been inspired by our consumers, so running a competition that invited Ben & Jerry's fans from around the world to suggest their own flavours was a no-brainer.
The winning concoction, Fairly Nuts, is a caramel ice cream with a caramel swirl and praline almond clusters. Fairly Nuts will be available in a 500ml sized tub with an RRP of £3.99 and box size of 8 tubs.
