Great taste and quality have always been at the heart of Linda McCartney Foods, underpinned by its heritage of honest and ethical principles.
From its inception in 1991 to today, the iconic brand offers wholesome meat-free food that is full of flavour and nutrition; recipes are kept as simple and natural, free from genetically modified ingredients and hydrogenated fats.
Linda McCartney's latest dish to launch in supermarkets across the country is a hearty autumnal dish with warming spices and ‘good for you' ingredients.
The Spicy Bean and Sausage Casserole has been created using two vegetarian sausages, a selection of beans including soya, cannellini, haricot and borlotti beans, tomatoes, mixed peppers and spices such as cumin, cayenne and paprika.
The abundance and variety of beans and vegetables with the sausages means that the dish includes two of the recommended ‘five a day', is a good source of protein and is only 396 calories per portion.
A delicious meal as part of a healthy and nutritious diet, the casserole can be enjoyed on its own or with some warm crusty bread or olive oil mashed potato.
The meat alternatives from the range include the Vegetarian Roast and Vegetarian Sausage Rolls which are perfect for a meat-free celebration such as Thanksgiving or Christmas.
