Hancocks is taking a bold stance when it comes to Easter and offering its customers an exclusive "free eggs" deal from 1 January until 12 April.
"Teenage eggs become the target of supermarket price wars year after year. If independent retailers have to purchase them, there is no way that they can compete and so we are giving them away for free instead!" says Jonathan Summerley, Hancocks senior buyer.
Retailers can gradually stock up on these eggs from January onwards as they carry out their regular confectionery shopping at Hancocks:
Buy any two cases of Nestle countlines and get a FREE Kit Kat medium egg
Buy any two cases of Cadburys countlines and get a FREE Crème Egg medium egg
"This allows retailers to gather together quite a number of eggs as the season approaches and basically make 100% profit on them at whatever price they choose to sell at!" states Summerley.
The cash and carry will be running this exclusive promotion in all 16 outlets, allowing retailers UK wide to benefit from this simple cash generating deal.
