Booker, the UK's leading food & drink wholesaler, has extended it's massively popular Butcher's Market range of fresh meat with the launch of Pork Loin Spare Ribs in a Barbecue glaze. The delicious new product offers a low price to shoppers of just £3.50 while still delivering great profits to retailers of over 28%. As with the entire Butcher's Market range, which now consists of nine fresh meats, all are pre-packed and price-marked. The company this week also expanded its Euro Shopper range. The range builds upon Booker's meat and butchery expertise to help independent retailers capture new sales of fresh meat, as the range is convenient and easy to handle while offering shoppers fantastic value for money. Booker is encouraging retailers to buy the products little and often to maximise availability and minimise wastage. "Booker is committed to choice up, prices down and better service," said Steven Fox, Director of Retail & Premier Development. "Increasingly people are shopping locally and by stocking fresh meat, not only will it drive more footfall into stores, but also increase sales and profits. "The whole Butcher's Market range offers great quality meat, that is outstanding value for money. "In today's difficult economic climate price-marked packs are becoming more important to convey value to shoppers and the Butcher's Market range is perfect to help independent retailers promote their store as offering low prices, great value and quality products."
