Warburtons, the UK's number one branded baker, is bringing back its fruity favourite, the Hot Cross Bun Loaf.

Available from the beginning of January in a 400g format and with a RSP of £1.30, Warburtons Hot Cross Bun Loaf recipe includes a scrumptious mix of sultanas and currants incorporated within sweet and mildly spiced glazed bread, perfect for an Easter treat.

Back by popular demand, the Hot Cross Bun Loaf, now available with a new seasonal on-pack flash, continues to be one of the firm family favourites from Warburtons Fruit Loaf range which includes Warburtons Fruit Loaf with Orange and Warburtons Raisin Loaf with Cinnamon.

Sarah Miskell, Category Director at Warburtons, comments, "Seasonal products such as the Hot Cross Bun Loaf help to build interest within the category and drive sales during the seasonal period.

"The Hot Cross Bun Loaf has always been an Easter favourite for the family as a tasty tea time treat and continues to grow in popularity.

"Last year Hot Cross Bun Loaf showed a huge year on year volume and value sales growth of 22.9% and we are confident that Warburton's Hot Cross Bun Loaf will be enjoyed just as much in 2009."
