Pink, the Australian rosé sparkling wine brand from Yellowglen, is to sponsor the Pink Ribbon Foundation, the trust dedicated to helping women affected by breast cancer.
From this month (November), all bottles of Pink (750ml) and Pink Piccolos (200ml) will bear the Pink Ribbon logo.
Brand manager Tyler Psarras said: "We are delighted the Pink brand is supporting the Pink Ribbon Foundation as we feel that there is more than just a colour connection between them. This is effectively our way of giving back to a good cause on behalf of our consumers and helps make a difference.
"We have made an initial donation directly to the Pink Ribbon Foundation and will continue to actively raise funds for the cause."
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant-making trust that funds projects and provides financial support to UK charities relieving the needs of people who are suffering from, or who have been affected by, breast cancer or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer, its early detection and treatment.
Pink, a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz that is distributed in the UK by Foster's EMEA, is available from Sainsbury's and Asda stores nationwide, as well as independent and convenience stores, priced at £7.99 for a 750ml bottle.
