Aimia Foods launches new range of Outspan drinks

Tuesday, 18 November 2008
A new range of Outspan drinks has been launched by Aimia Foods, the independent supplier of hot and cold beverages.

The new pure juice drinks come in 330ml PET bottles with eye-catching packaging and have a recommended sales price of 85p per bottle.

Available in orange and apple flavours, the new drinks contain no artificial colours, preservatives, flavourings or sweeteners.

In the pure juice market, which in the UK is currently worth almost £2 billion and growing, they are the first in a series of product launches in the Outspan range which are set to take the sector by storm.

Neal Haworth, cold drinks category marketing manager at Aimia Foods, says: "The Outspan brand is a world renowned South African brand which is sold in over 50 countries around the globe. Customers have come to expect a quality product from Outspan, in fact over one billion pieces of Outspan fruit are consumed each year.

"This is the first time that Outspan has ventured in to the drinks market. We've worked hard on every aspect of the drinks, from the recipe through to the packaging design, and we are happy that we have a winning formula which will be popular with adults and children alike.

"This is part of a long term product development plan with Outspan, and we will be announcing details of the next development phase soon."

Each bottle of Outspan contains one of the 'five a day' portions of fruit. The drinks are available in cases of 24.

A support package for vendors, foodservice operators and cash & carries is available directly from Aimia. For more information phone 01942 408600 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
