Président expands its Light Brie distribution

Tuesday, 11 November 2008
Président has responded to the growing consumer interest in low-calorie alternatives by increasing the distribution of its Président Light Brie in the UK.

With the same subtle yet distinctive flavour and creamy texture of full fat brie but containing only 19% fat and 242 Kcal per 100g, customers can still enjoy their favourite continental cheese without the guilt.

"We know health is a growing concern for consumers, so a wider distribution of our Président Light Brie into the market will allow more people to enjoy a lower fat alternative without compromising on the authenticity, taste or quality of the cheese," says Justin Alblas, Marketing Manager for Président.

The aim is to enable health conscious consumers to enjoy all the flavour of standard Brie yet with 1/3 less fat.

Président Light Brie can be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet with oatcakes and grapes, as a sandwich filler or part of the cheeseboard at dinner parties.
