Lactalis Nestlé is extending its Aero dessert range with a new mint and choc flavour variant to sit alongside its milk and white chocolate varieties.
The chilled dairy company believes the new Aero Mint and Choc Bubbly Dessert will be a hit with consumers as the mint variant is one of the most popular flavours across Nestlé's Aero portfolio.
Mint flavoured products account for around half of all Aero confectionery sales and more than a third of Aero hot chocolate drinks, according to Lactalis Nestlé Marketing Director Michael Inpong.
He said: "From our research, we know that consumers are looking for a little bit of indulgence which is why we decided to extend the range. Mint and Choc was a natural choice for us because it has strong heritage in Aero confectionery and its popularity shows that consumers enjoy the freshness of the mint taste combined with Aero bubbles."
The new flavour will have the same delicious taste of its Aero Mint confectionery counterpart but with tasty swirls of chocolate.
In addition, the full Aero dessert range has been re-branded to Aero Bubbly Dessert and the packaging has been revamped with a fresh new design with greater bubble cues to give stand out in the chilled dairy aisle.
At 112 calories per pot, Aero Mint & Choc Bubbly Dessert is a sweet treat that satisfies those chocolate cravings.
Aero Bubbly Dessert is available in new Mint & Choc, Milk Choc and White Choc. The mousses come in packs of four and will be sold in selected supermarkets and convenience stores from 20 October 2008 RSP £1.19.
