Walkers, Britain's No.1 crisps and snacks manufacturer, is set to drive sales of its Sensations brand this winter with its ‘£1m Winter Windfall' on pack promotion.
It comes after the company revealed that the original Monster Munch have returned.
This exciting text-to-win activity offers consumers the chance to win thousands of prizes including shopping trips to New York, breaks in the Ice Hotel, Sweden, Sony Laptops, Sony Playstation 3s, HMV vouchers plus many, many more.
The easy-to-enter instant promotion will run across Sensations 40g packs and is designed to drive sales within the Impulse channel.
The consumer simply texts the batch code on back of pack to a special number and instantly receives a text message back informing them of their prize or telling them that they were not successful this time.
The promotional packs will be in store from October 2008 and the final chance to enter will be the end of January 2009.
Literally thousands of prizes, worth a total of £1million are up for grabs including high value winter trips, short breaks, the latest must-have gadgets and e-vouchers.
The full list of prizes includes:

The promotion comes hot on the heels of a number of successful on-pack promotions from Walkers this year, including Walkers Brit Trips, Doritos You Make it, We Play It!, the 2 for 1 Merlin promotion on its snacks range and Walkers Do Us a Flavour.
Walkers has also reduced the case sizes of some of Sensations biggest sellers -Szechuan Spice 40g and Oven Roasted Chicken with Lemon & Thyme 40g from 32 packs to 24 to help retailers better manage their stock flow, to encourage trial and boost ROS.
