Maltesers Super Thick Shake available in November from Mars

Mars Consumer Drinks is adding the Maltesers flavoured drink to its existing range of chocolate ‘dessert drinks’, which currently include TWIX Super Thick Shake and M&M’s Super Thick Shake.

Maltesers Super Thick Shake is the ultimate milk shake. The thick, malty chocolate shake comes with a totally unique mini bag of Maltesers stored in the lid, perfect for floating on top.

Available in a handy 190ml ‘frappuccino-style’ cup, a cleverly designed straw-spoon is attached, enabling consumers to scoop and stir the thick moussey chocolate.

Due to the nature of the packaging, the dessert style drink is also perfect to be enjoyed on-the-go.

Bep Sandhu, trade relations manager at Mars comments: “Due to the success of both TWIX and M&Ms Super Thick Shakes launched last year, we feel there is a real market for indulgent milk based dessert drinks.

“We believe it is the uniqueness and convenience of the product that consumers love. The fact that they can now get their favourite Mars chocolate brands in a super thick style milk shake is also a real attraction.

“The benefit for retailers is they can be stored ambient for up to six months, but in order to deliver the perfect customer experience should be sold chilled.”
