Flora Pro.Activ, the UK’s No.1 cholesterol lowering brand from Unilever UK, is launching a new educational TV campaign as part of a £15m marketing support package in 2008. The new campaign hits screens on the 14th July and consists of a series of ‘infomercials’ (extended TV adverts) which run for 60 seconds and feature brand ambassador Gloria Hunniford. Flora pro.activ brand manager, Erin Merlin, says: “We want to help consumers understand how to get optimum results from the Flora pro.activ range and to encourage a healthy lifestyle. “This new campaign will help educate new and existing users about Flora pro.activ’s cholesterol-lowering range of products: spread, milk, yogurt and mini drinks. The infomercial conveys the message that Flora pro.activ really does work and, if eaten in the right amounts, can significantly lower cholesterol.” “Ultimately, we are looking to make Flora pro.activ the consumers’ first choice when it comes to foods that lower cholesterol. The series communicates a complex message in an easy-to-understand and entertaining format that is more accessible for consumers.” In the ‘infomercial’ series, Gloria Hunniford follows 4 members of the public through a 3 week challenge to lower their cholesterol. But will they all succeed? Find out in the final episode which will be shown from 11th Aug. This campaign follows a successful on pack promotion earlier this year which also featured Gloria Hunniford, who herself has a history of raised cholesterol. The promotion offered consumers a free heart health and cholesterol test at a leading pharmacy, giving them the opportunity to find out about their own cholesterol.

i have always bought... i have always bought my flora proactive milk from my local sainsbury store. Now they have told me they are no longer stocking it. I have always been able to purchase this before. They say that it doesn't sell very well. So I am very disappointed. |
