Aero gets a new look

Nestlé Confectionery is driving Aero’s chocolate credentials with the introduction of a fresh new redesign across all product packaging, which will come in to effect from July 2008.

The new Aero packaging is designed to capture shoppers’ attention by creating better stand out on shelf, whilst conveying a more adult, indulgent look for the brand.

What’s more, the new high quality metallised laminate film will ensure that product is kept up to 5 times fresher!

A top 10 chocolate brand, Aero has grown in value by 49% since 2004.

Graham Walker, Nestlé UK Trade Communications Manager, says, “This packaging relaunch is the next step for Aero and is set to increase sales for retailers by creating better stand out on shelf.

“The new designs aren’t just for show though; they will also deliver improved aeration quality and ensure the Aero chocolate is kept up to 5 times fresher!

Aero will be supported by a £2.5m marketing campaign, which will include TV and bus sides from October. This forms part of Aero’s £6m marketing support package in 2008.
