The UK is set for a Mexican heatwave this summer as United Biscuits (UBUK) extends its Hula Hoops range with the launch of Tortilla Hula Hoops.
From July onwards, Tortilla Hula Hoops will be bringing a Mexican feel to retailers across the UK with this new corn range, available in two multipack varieties.
Both the Nacho Cheese six-pack and the Cool Original, Chilli Salsa and Nacho Cheese multipack are available at an MRRP of £1.65.
With the Tortilla market worth £100 million and growing by 11% year on year, and with the total Hula Hoops core range worth over £76 million, retailers should take advantage of the profit potential afforded by the launch of Tortilla Hula Hoops.
New Tortilla Hula Hoops are made from corn bringing a truly Mexican tortilla texture to the range as well great tasting flavours.
Using 100% Sunflower oil the new range provides a lighter, crispier crunch, offering consumers a great tasting snack. Tortilla Hula Hoops also contain no artificial flavours, colours or MSG.
Nick Stuart, Commercial Manager at UBUK, comments: “The addition of Tortilla Hula Hoops to the core range will generate additional profit opportunities for retailers who look to capitalise on the growing Tortillas market. Mexican-themed flavours are enjoying a renaissance and retailers should look to take advantage of the opportunity the range will create.”
