Quanto Basta is the new and attractive Italian range of 20cl and 25cl wines which is set to launch in March 2008 exclusively through Crush Wines Ltd.
Offering the trade real margin enhancement the range is targeted at the multiple retail, on-trade and convenience sectors.
The selection of quality sparkling and still wines derives from well known Italian regions such as the Veneto and Romagna, as well as introducing interesting wines such as Verdicchio and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
Quanto Basta, literally translated means as 'just enough' and comes with an easy to use screw-cap closure which is practical and avoids the effects of oxidation, therefore offering a 'quick service' through a broad range of consistently fresh wines.
However, it is also the specially designed bottle and the cute and charming design which sets this range apart.
Chris Ellis, Managing Director commented, “We strongly believe this delightful selection hits a real gap in the market. Not only is the packaging stylish and endearing but the quality wine choice possibilities are endless. We believe it is a little winner!
“With such pressure on the trade to support and enhance the drink awareness campaigns, these mini bottles, not only suit any occasion or table, they add to consumer choice.”
Capitalising on current growth areas such as sparkling, as well focusing on the role of social responsibility, the range includes a Prosecco Veneto, a Vino Bianco Frizzante and four of the wines in the range are low in alcohol.
The range
• Prosecco Veneto IGT
• Vino Bianco Frizzante Secco
• Chardonnay Veneto IGT
• Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC
• Nero d'Avola Sicilia IGT
• Sangiovese di Romagna DOC
• Montepuliciano d'Abruzzo DOC
