Global Brands adds RTD Mojito

The launch comes after consumer research revealed a gap in the market for such a hybrid product, which could invigorate the RTD category and excite and inspire new drinkers.

The results highlighted that the availability of an authentic Mojito in the RTD category would be a welcome addition and that in fact it could enthuse existing RTD drinkers and convert those that prefer to drink freshly made cocktails to try a RTD.

The first flavour to be launched in the new range is VK Mojito Original. Made with Caribbean Rum with a 4% ABV comes in a 275ml format offering, a set measure product that can be served straight from the fridge, giving consumers the perfect Mojito every time.

Mojito Cocktails shot to fame as a top tipple following the release of 'Die Another Day' in 2002 – which saw Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry, aka, Bond and Jinx enjoying the mint and rum based drinks at the Hotel De Los Organos Bar.
