Brazilian Ypioca Cachaca is latest import from Global Brands

Global Brands are bringing the spirit of Brazil to UK shores
with their newest import Ypioca Cachaca, the authentic taste
of Brazil.

Ypioca Cachaca
Cachaca is relatively unknown in the UK but is the most popular distilled beverage in Brazil. This situation is set to change due in part to the popularity of Brazilian cocktails such as Caipirinha and Mojito.

Cachaca is known as one of the most mixable of white spirits.
Cachaca is a distilled spirit obtained from the fermentation of sugar cane and Ypioca are renowned for making some of the best in the world.

Ypioca is Brazils largest producer of Cachaca and have been
producing the spirit since 1846. It’s safe to say they are experts in their field! Such an impressive brand heritage means that Ypioca is the number one branded Cachaca and is exported to 40 countries worldwide.

Global Brands will be importing two of Ypioca’s most popular
Cachacas – Ouro and Prata. Both have been aged for two years, Ouro in balsam barrels to give a darker taste and appearance and Prata in freijo barrels to give a much lighter taste and colour.

Cachaca is the main ingredient to many cocktails; the most popular being a Caipirinha, made with lime juice, sugar and crushed ice.

Batidas are equally popular and are made with Cachaca, fruit and sugar. The most popular flavours include passion fruit, coconut, lemon and pineapple.

Global Brands Managing Director Steve Perez is delighted to be importing such an authentic product. “Ypioca Cachaca is one of the finest Cachacas in the World and we are honoured to be appointed as distributors. The market for Cachaca in the UK is huge, especially with the increased popularity of Brazilian cocktails. As every good bartender knows, the quality of a cocktail depends on the quality of the ingredients and Ypioca Cachaca is one of the best in the world.”
