Constellation Europe is launching a neck collarette promotion for premium New Zealand brand Nobilo designed to reinforce Nobilo's credentials as the ideal wine to drink with seafood.
The on-bottle promotion will offer consumers the chance to win one of six cookery courses at Rick Stein's famous Padstow Seafood School.
The on-bottle promotion, in store from now until the end of May 2009, will operate across Nobilo Regional Collection Sauvignon Blanc (RRP £8.20) and Nobilo Five Fathoms Sauvignon Blanc (RRP £6.99).
This in-store activity follows a press advertising campaign that paired Nobilo Regional Collection Sauvignon Blanc with seafood recipes such as Roast Cod Fillet and Aubergine.
The advertisements were targetted at Engaged Explorers - confident and experienced regular wine drinkers identified through Constellation's Wine Nation research.
Clare Griffiths, VP European Consumer Marketing for Constellation Europe, commented: "Nobilo is the UK's third biggest New Zealand brand.
"Its flagship varietal - Sauvignon Blanc - is crisp and zesty with a lingering finish and reflects the pure, fresh goodness of New Zealand.
"Nobilo is a quality wine that's a perfect match with seafood which is why the Rick Stein promotion is a natural fit.
"Constellation understands that good food and wine is a big part of Engaged Explorers' lives and has designed the promotion with this firmly in mind."
