Magners Irish Cider is launching a fresh nationwide ad campaign for Magners Light, to coincide with the product being launched nationally.
'Dandelion', the popular Magners Light television advertisement which first aired in May this year, will be screened nationally for the first time on 8th December and will run for two weeks across all major networks.
In addition to the highly targeted, heavyweight TV campaign, there will be comprehensive press advertising in popular titles such as Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Marie Claire, Weightwatchers and OK magazine from December through to February.
As well as the above-the-line activity, Magners continues to support the trade during this difficult trading period by providing a free case of Magners Light to many publicans who have listed the product.
Richard Barnes, Brand Manager at Magners, commented: "Magners Light proved an instant hit when it launched in London last year and we have now secured distribution in all major off-trade retailers. We expect the product to be a huge success for publicans and retailers throughout the UK."
He continued: "Heavyweight investment in TV advertising, out of home, cinema, press, sampling and PR support, has always been a major characteristic of the Magners brand.
"We are delighted to extend this support to help drive trial, awareness and sales of Magners Light as it rolls out across the country and are convinced that this investment will make an impact."
