Badger summer ale gains listings with multiples

Selected Sainsbury's and Tesco stores will be stocking the Long Days seasonal summer ale from Dorset brewer Hall & Woodhouse from this month (May).

Long Days is described as a 4.5% alcohol by volume golden summer ale with a “subtle hint of raspberries to complement the underlying malt and hop aromas”.

The ale, available in 500ml bottles, was brewed with raspberry leaves to create a “sweet and fruity seasonal beer with a zingy taste”.

Head brewer Dr Tim Morris recommends the beer, which is included in the brewery’s range of Badger ales, is best served chilled.
