Cadbury Flake and Dairy Milk ice cream now in tubs

Read more about
Source : Fredericks Dairies

Fredericks Dairies, the UK's largest independent ice cream manufacturer, is launching two exciting new luxury Cadbury tub products which will continue to strengthen the brands offering in tubbed ice cream.

The two new one-litre tubs focus on core, iconic brands Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cadbury Flake and will sport a new premium square tub design with strong Cadbury branding to create maximum standout in the freezer and drive profit opportunities for retailers.

The new tubs have an ‘everyday premium’ positioning and deliver all the indulgent credentials you would expect from Cadbury with no fuss.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk variant is a delicious combination of creamy chocolate ice cream with big chunks of real Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate and the Cadbury Flake variant is a decadent mixture of creamy vanilla ice cream mixed with real Flake pieces, which is guaranteed to be a hit with the Flake brand’s huge existing fan base.

The two new Cadbury tubs retail at £2.99 per litre and will attract the increasing number of consumers who are looking for indulgence first and foremost when shopping for ice cream, a trend recognized by David Taylor, Sales & Marketing Director at Fredericks Dairies, who says: "There are two key drivers fuelling growth in the ice cream market and they sit at opposite ends of the spectrum - health and indulgence”.

“We are seeing at the moment that when consumers fancy a treat they are going all out with their ice cream choices and the more indulgent the better. They would rather have a smaller portion of something really decadent, like creamy ice cream with lots of Cadbury inclusions, than compromise for something lacking in quality and taste.”

The total Cadbury ice cream brand is currently worth over £33 million.

The Dairy Milk ice-cream is really nice, especially the chocolate chip pieces!

My husband and I have tried both the Dairy Milk and the Flake. We found them both extremely nice, but we both prefered the Flake. We need to know where to buy these from, it was on a promotion at Morrisons for 1 week only. Now they don't supply it. Talk about dangling a carrot in front of the donkey or what !!!
