Unilever UK is launching a brand new mini-health drink that is set to reinvigorate the category and drive incremental growth for Slim.Fast.
Available from February, the new Slim.Fast Hunger Shot will benefit from a £3m marketing spend, including TV, press, online, PR and in-store activity.
Sioned Picton, senior category manager, comments: “Slim.Fast Hunger Shot is a functional product creating a new weight management segment within mini-health drinks and will attract new consumers into the sector and the Slim.Fast brand.
”Traditional mini-health drinks are a breakfast item but, Slim.Fast Hunger Shots are designed to be drunk once or twice during the day to replace typical higher-calorie, fat and sugar snacks with a tasty, healthy option.”
“Slim.Fast Hunger Shots are packed full of protein and fibre helping consumers snack less on unhealthy foods between meals. The product provides a quick lower-calorie ‘fill-up’ that will tide them over to the next meal and the mini-drink format allows us to deliver great taste in a convenient format for consumers on the go.”
Slim.Fast Hunger Shot is a chilled 100ml dairy-based mini-drink and will be available in two flavours, strawberry and vanilla, in packs of four. Each Slim.Fast Hunger Shot contains 54 calories. The mini-health drink packs have a manufactured shelf life of 45 days and will retail at £2.89.
just tried you new hunger shot drinks they are superb, drink one and the notion to eat a biscuit or a piece of chocolate just goes away, well done slim fast,and im not starving for my next meal.

i believe you can now find HUNGER SHOTS at sainsburys for £2.89 but next week they will be half price so a good time to try.

Hi all,
Just trying to find out about where to get them?
I've been to Tesco, (large store), Boots and Superdrug and haven't been able to find them.
Any suggestions?
Also, about the 2 for 1, when does that start, and where?

dear fellow shoppers,
please bear in mind that this product is expensive and that slim fast is not after your health but after your money. try to find other ways to curb your cravings (brushing teeth, chewing gum, mineral water, fruit etc.); there is enough information on the internet.

Found them in Tesco (big one on Acre Lane) though it wasn't with the SlimFast products, best as one of the assistants. I think it was with the dairy products, cheeses and stuff...(can't remember as I did a lot of shopping that day). They're similar to Yop/yoghurt drinks, and can only be taken twice a day. Not bad, both the Vanilla and Strawberry are quite yummy, and does stop that craving. ;)

I found hungar shots today on a special offer in Asda's for £1.50 for 4!
Ive been looking in all supermarkets for a while! Im yet to try them, hopefully they'll work but are dear if using them everyday as there £2.89 normally!!
