Carte D'Or, the UK's no.1 premium ice cream brand from Unilever UK, is launching a delicious new range of high fruit content Sorbets.

Available from March, the three-strong range will benefit from a £6.5million Carte D’Or brand investment in 2008.

New Carte D’Or Sorbets which contain fruit pieces are low in calories and virtually fat free. Nikki French Carte D’Or Brand Manager says: “The new range of gorgeously smooth sorbets are high in fruit and contain virtually no fat so now consumers can spoil themselves more often. This continues our strategy to inspire consumers to rediscover the ice cream aisle and to drive frequency amongst existing ice cream buyers.”

Carte D’Or continues to lead the premium ice cream sector through exciting innovation and impactful, well-targeted brand support. French continues: “Our new Carte D’Or Sorbets offer consumers a lighter, fruitier alternative to creamy ice creams so are likely to benefit from more frequent consumption.”

Carte D’Or Sorbets are available in three flavours: Lemon (with Sicilian Lemon Pieces), Mango (with Chunks of Juicy Mango) and Blackcurrant (with Juicy Blackcurrants). They are priced at £2.79 (RSP) for 1l with 6 tubs to a case.

I recently had the lemon one and there is too much lemon skin in it, just makes it bitter and unpleasant!

i just finishe the tub of lemon sorbet, yes its quite bitter and out of 6 people who tried my tub i was the only one to have more than one spoonful but if you like strong flavour like i do its lovely really fresh an refredhing and yes it tastes just like frewsh lemons, but i cant see that its a problem i hate stuff that tastes synthetic so 10/10 but an aqured taste, seems like marmite you either love it or you hate it
