Tangerine Confectionery has announced that it is to add a range of bagged products to its classic Mojo sweets offering.

The new range will bring Mojos chews, gums, jellies and ‘centre in shell’ sweets to a wider range of retailers and consumers and is made up of eight products in 40 gram and larger 83, 118 and 125 gram bags.

Commenting on the news, brand manager Helen Sears said: “Adding bagged products to the popular Mojo offering takes the range to a whole new market. The combination of unbeatable margins, great presence on-shelf and fantastic product will help Mojo to continue its rapid growth.”

The launch comes on the back of the successful relaunch of Mojos in 2007 which brought new branding and packaging and all natural colours and flavours. At the same time, the range was extended to include gums, jellies, lollipops and ‘centre in shell’ products like Squirting Skulls and Bursting Bottles in addition to the traditional Mojo chews.

Moojo Bursting Bottles, Mini Jelly Babies, Dew Drops, Midget Gems and Squirting Skulls are available in case display units containing 24x40 gram bags. Each bag retails for 29p.

Mojo Shrimps & Bananas are sold in case display units of 12 x 125 gram bags, Mixed Fruit Lollipops in cases of 18 x 83 gram bags and Assorted Chews in cases of 12 x 118 gram bags. These bags all have an RSP of 69p.

The new products join the existing Mojo range sold in bulk bags and tubs which is available through wholesale and cash and carry channels including Nisa, Palmer and Harvey, Sugro and Hancocks.
