2008 sees the relaunch of Radox, the UK's favourite washing and bathing brand. Radox is also launching four new product ranges including new oxygels and additions to the Daily Elements range.

Radox’s iconic products will be given a sleek new look, with a redesign of both the logo and packaging.

The new ranges draw on 100 years of Radox know how to create products which include some of nature’s effective herbs and minerals to protect and care for you. The following will be in stores from February:

• ‘Nourishing’ - a range of bath, shower and handwash containing Shea Butter and Ginger Root to care for your skin
• ‘Invigorating and Energizing Oxygels’ - products to give you a kick start in the mornings with their up lifting scents
• ‘Muscle Therapy and Stimulate Shower’ – a range which uses Black Pepper and Ginseng to help revive your body and mind and gently warm your muscles

In 2006 Radox launched the successful ‘Daily Elements’ range, which took advantage of their expertise in natural ingredients to create a range which drew on nature’s effective minerals. The range also included Radox’s first ever anti perspirant deodorant. This year see’s the addition of several new products to the range, including a second anti-white marks deodorant. The new products are:

• ‘Hydra Spa’ – a range of luxurious bath and shower products which are hypoallergenic, pH balanced and bring the luxury of the spa to your home.
• ‘Soft Pearl’ and ‘Gentle Clear’ – two new deodorants including a second anti-white marks deodorant (Gentle Clear)

The re-launch also sees Radox going green. New developments include its first ever handwash refill which uses 75% less plastic per 100ml of product than the standard Radox Handwash. This means less plastic waste taking up scarce space in land fill sites and damaging the environment, plus it works out cheaper which is good news for everybody! Customers can simply use the refill pack to top up an existing bottle, reseal and use again.

Margaret Jobling, new Marketing Director at Radox, said “The new logo and packaging make the products look sharp and modern, but without losing the classic Radox look. The products all bring an exciting new twist to the existing range and contain an array of luxurious ingredients expertly blended by Radox to help people feel better”

Radox owes its success to being experts in their field, and their herbal bath was the first bath range to develop the proven to relax formulations. Radox is synonymous with herbs and minerals and has a long history of innovation and breakthough products.

This is a step in the right direction but it would be more gren to produce products in pump dispenser format of 1 litre like in many other countries. Purchasing in larger volumes would surely mean less packaging waste.
