Bahlsen adds three new products to biscuits range
Bahlsen, the leading manufacturer of 'Deliciously Continental' biscuits, has extended its product portfolio here in the UK with the launch of three exciting new products.
Bahlsen currently leads the Special Treat branded category growth, and is the number two player within the sector. So, what better time to extend its range with three products to appeal to a new audience. The first in the trio is a one off limited edition biscuit, an extension to the companys Choco Leibniz range, which is now a firm favourite with UK consumers, being in fact the 30th best selling biscuit in the UK. Choco Leibniz Banana, will be launched to the trade in January for a limited period only, offering consumers a continental biscuit with a twist, a unique banana flavour which runs right through the all-butter biscuit and the thick chocolate topping. In addition to this, Bahlsen has also created Choco Sticks and Peanut Delight, with the aim of attracting a more mainstream audience, encouraging younger consumers to buy Bahlsen. Choco Sticks is perfect as an occasional indulgent treat. This crunchy biscuit stick coated with melt-in-the-mouth continental chocolate, has a no-mess no-fuss chocolate free end to keep fingers clean! The product is a sweet and tasty nibble, packaged in a convenient re-closable flip-top carton, containing two flow wrapped packets of six sticks. It is suited to consumers looking for a contemporary snack that can easily be consumed on the go. Last, but by no means least, peanut lovers will go nuts for Bahlsens new Peanut Delight. This new product has already been put to the consumer test, with almost 90 per cent of those asked claiming to love its great taste, resulting in a very high propensity to purchase index. Bahlsens first ever peanut snack, these bite-sized Leibniz biscuits are topped with caramelised peanuts and are ideal for sharing with friends or consuming on the go. Available in a 175g bag, Peanut Delight will encourage consumers to take full advantage of spontaneous snacking moments. The introduction of the first ever Banana Choco Leibniz definitely adds a unique twist to our core range as its indulgent but also quirky. Peanut Delight and Choco Sticks have both been developed to give consumers an ideal treat for grazing, positioning them as an ideal social and sharing snack.
