Bon Bon Buddies is launching a new range of innovative character Easter products including Egg Decorating Kits, tasty chocolate eggs with gifts and adult Eggs and Mugs.

The Easter collection includes a new range of Winnie the Pooh, Disney Princess and Spongebob Squarepants Easter Egg Decorating Kits retailing at £3.99. Each kit contains milk chocolate eggs and materials to create and decorate a 3D scene, making them ideal for children.

For the first time Bon Bon Buddies is introducing a series of premium teen and adult Egg and Mugs inspired by chart-topping television programmes such as Desperate Housewives, 24 and Lost.

A new range of ceramics mugs and smoothies cups with chocolate eggs will feature kids' favourite characters, such as Disney's High School Musical, Hello Kitty and Doctor Who.

The ever popular Breakfast Sets have been updated with a new toast stamper, featuring Disney Princess, Dora the Explorer, Roary the Racing Car and Spongebob Squarepants. The company expects to sell record numbers, adding fun to almost half a million kids' breakfasts.

Martin Sutherland, Marketing Director at Bon Bon Buddies, said: "We were market leaders at Easter 2007 and with this season's innovative range of leading character products, I'm confident we will be again in 2008."

Bon Bon Buddies, based in Crumlin, Gwent, is Europe's leading supplier of licensed confectionery and novelty biscuits, including seasonal and year-round product lines.

The company recently announced record results for the financial year ending April 2007, with sales rising from £17.9 million to £26.1 million. The company supplies leading retailers across Europe including Tesco, Asda, Wilkinson, Auchan and Carrefour.
