McVitie’s Penguin, one of Britain’s most iconic chocolate biscuit brands, is pleased to announce the launch of the new Penguin Triple Chocolate Wafer bar at the end of this month.
Available in packs of nine with a MRRP of £1.35, the milk chocolate covered wafer bars filled with chocolate cream only contain 96 calories and have no artificial colours or flavours, appealing to mums who want to give their kids a tasty, lighter treat.
Nick Stuart, Commercial Manager, United Biscuits UK, says: “Penguin is one of the most popular and instantly recognisable brands in the UK. Renowned as a fantastic treat for kids, either as a lunchbox filler or to eat on the move, the new chocolate wafer will be no exception.”
“The Penguin Triple Chocolate Wafer is another piece of innovation to extend the Penguin range, currently worth £24m at RSV, and will create excitement within the Chocolate Biscuit Bar sector, driving extra sales of the whole brand.
"We recommend that retailers display the new variant in a prominent position in store alongside the existing range to take full advantage of the sales and profit opportunities.”
