Vodkat sponsors comedy series “Entourage”
Take one fit looking aspiring megastar. Throw in a bevy of mates for good measure. Set their adventures in Tinsel Town and what have you got? A hit comedy series starring Adrian Grenier as New York born Vince, who's already made it big and intends to make it bigger – with a little help from his friends. Which brand would make the perfect sponsor for this Bafta award winning show, which airs on Thursday nights at 10:30pm and has a cult young adult following? Enter Vodkat, already a big hit and aspiring to be even bigger. Says InterContinental Brands Joint MD Paul Burton: Vodkat was recently tracked by Nielsen as one of the top 50 UK brands, with a sales increase of 237% in the year to the 14th July 2007. It is aimed at and is massively popular with the same trendy, sassy, aspirational audience as Entourage, so its the perfect fit for Vodkat and will deliver enormous brand awareness. The sponsorship deal delivers equivalent airtime of around £1m and, in addition, advertisements for the show will include the Vodkat logo. Entourage will be a major part of the networks XXL Thursday on ITV2 along with Streetmate, Secret Diary of a Call Girl and The Black Donnellys.
