Scott's Porage, Scotland's No.1 porridge, is launching a series of limited edition packs to celebrate an exciting partnership between Scotts Porage Oats and the Scottish Rugby Union. The inspired partnership is set to drive strong sales capitalising on the RBS Six Nations championship, which kicks off on February 7.The familiar iconic on pack image of the Scotts Porage stone putter will be replaced with inspiring images of Scotland's top rugby stars - cap and points record holder Chris Paterson, dynamic hooker Ross Ford and flying winger Thom Evans demonstrating a drop-kick - in their new Six Nations kit." This is a key milestone in Scott's brand history, as it is the first major packaging change since the original stone putter was turned from monochrome to colour in 1955. In addition to the pack re-design, an exciting on pack promotion will offer consumers the opportunity to win RBS six nations tickets, creating even greater interest and driving sales. Sean Summers, Marketing Director, Quaker said: "This is an exciting partnership for Scott's Porage, which will have huge appeal for consumers and help to drive increased sales. "Quaker has already kick started this year with a huge sales lift of 200% versus this time last year. In the first week of January the company reported the largest ever orders in its history, 65% higher than its previous best selling week. This initiative is set to spearhead even greater growth and retailers should stock up now to benefit from both the cold weather and interest around the Six Nations championship." Quaker Porage Oats will also be fuelling the Scottish Rugby team on the pitch by ensuring they have Scotland's finest porridge for breakfast each day. Source: Scott's Porage
