Kingsmill rebrands to Queensmill for Jubilee celebrations

To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Kingsmill will re-brand to ‘Queensmill’ for a limited period this summer.  Limited edition packs of Queensmill will be available across the bread brand’s Soft White, Tasty Wholemeal and 50/50 SKUs for a two-week period from 21 May 2012.

Guy Shepherd, Category Director said: “We expect to see great demand for these limited edition packs from consumers excited about the Royal celebrations.  The Jubilee weekend, which also coincides with this year’s Big Lunch, is going to create great demand from shoppers looking to stock up on party essentials such as bread.  We hope these limited edition loaves become a must-have for summer parties, boosting retailer sales in the process.”

The loaves will be available to retailers across the UK, who should watch out for the new packs arrive in their usual deliveries from 21 May 2012.

Retailers should be sure to stock a broad range of lunch products, from Queensmill to party favourites such as rolls and sandwich alternatives, in order to capitalise on the party spirit of this year’s celebrations.
